Tamara Caulkins playing the Spruce/Birch classical at the Northwest Guitar Festival this year!
Available at the LaConner Guitar Festival this weekend May 16-18. This classical guitar has a traditional spruce top with curly red birch back and sides. The addition of a Bubinga fingerboard Padauk bridge and Bloodwood binding create a unique color combination. For a long time birch was used to make all sorts of musical instruments. It has wonderful tonal properties, but it's not very common these days. This guitar has a beautiful and bold sound. It will surprise anyone who has not played a Spruce and Birch combination before!
***This guitar will be available to play or purchase at the GFA Guitar Foundation of America convention June 16-21 in Louisville, Kentucky at the University of Louisville.
